Service Description

The internal frame of the PlayStation 5 DualSense controller constitutes the load-bearing structure on which the circuit board, battery, triggers, motors and most of the mechanical components of the joypad are fixed. Following falls, impacts, crushing or previous repair interventions, this element can crack, deform or present damaged attachment points. In some cases the controller continues to apparently function, but may show anomalous play of the shell, triggers not perfectly aligned, creaking or difficulty in correct assembly. A deformed or damaged frame can also compromise the correct sliding of the commands: some rear buttons can lock after being pressed and not return regularly to the rest position, precisely because the structure no longer maintains the correct alignments and mechanical play. Our service includes the complete replacement of the internal structural frame, with disassembly of the DualSense and transfer of components to the new support. During the intervention, the main attachment points and correct positioning of the internal components are also checked, so as to restore as much as possible the correct solidity, geometry and freedom of movement of the controller's commands. It is a particularly indicated intervention when the damage affects the internal structure but the circuit board, commands and other main components are still recoverable, thus avoiding, when possible, the replacement of the entire joypad. Note: the service concerns the internal structural frame. Any additional damaged components found during disassembly — for example shells, triggers, flat cable, analog modules or circuit board — are evaluated separately.
