PlayStation 5 Internal Cleaning Service

With use and over time, the PlayStation 5 accumulates dust inside the cooling system. This can cause increased temperatures, greater fan noise and, in the most critical cases, shutdowns or operational issues.

This internal cleaning only service is recommended exclusively if the console's liquid metal has already been replaced or restored less than 1 year ago: in this case it makes sense to repeat the cleaning without intervening on the liquid metal again.

If instead the liquid metal:

  • has never been replaced;
  • was replaced over 1 year ago;
  • you don't know when it was replaced;

We DO NOT recommend internal cleaning only: the price difference compared to the complete service with internal cleaning and liquid metal replacement is minimal, and it allows you to address both dust and liquid metal together instead of performing incomplete maintenance.

What is performed:

  • Disassembly of the casing and external plastics
  • Fan cleaning
  • Dust removal from the radiator and internal areas, including power supply
  • Cleaning of air vents and grilles
  • Cleaning of any ducts and dust accumulation points
  • Visual inspection of the general condition of the console, motherboard and connectors

Liquid metal:
The PlayStation 5 uses liquid metal between the processor and heatsink. In this service it is not replaced, nor is the heatsink/processor assembly disassembled.
