Service Description

The USB port on the back of your PS5 no longer recognizes USB drives, external disks, or the joypad cable, or is bent, loose, or has the internal tab broken after a tear or impact?

Don't use it like that: without the tab the pins are not aligned. If you accidentally insert a cable you can cause a short circuit and permanent damage to the console.

We replace the port with a new USB 3.0, soldered in the laboratory, and test joypad charging and data transfer. The service only concerns the two USB ports on the back, not the front ones. You can choose to replace one or both.
