Repair Notebook Gaming

The service includes complete maintenance of the computer's cooling system, suitable for desktop PCs, gaming PCs, traditional notebooks and gaming notebooks.

The intervention involves opening the device, carefully removing accumulated dust inside, cleaning the fans, heatsinks, air vents and the main areas affected by air passage.

When technically foreseen, the processor heatsink is also removed and the old thermal paste is replaced with a professional quality product, restoring proper heat transfer between the CPU and cooling system. On devices that require it, the GPU thermal paste and thermal pads condition can also be checked.

Periodic maintenance can help to:

• reduce operating temperatures;
• limit noise and excessive fan speed;
• prevent slowdowns due to overheating;
• improve stability during games and heavy applications;
• reduce thermal stress on components;
• extend the computer's service life.

At the end of the intervention, the correct operation of the fans is verified and, when possible, the system's operating temperatures.

The service is especially recommended in the presence of very noisy fans, high temperatures, sudden shutdowns, performance drops or when the computer has not been internally cleaned for several years.

Any replacements of fans, heatsinks, deteriorated thermal pads or other components are not included in the basic service and will be evaluated separately.

Let's open the notebook and thoroughly clean the fans, heatsinks and air vents, removing the dust that blocks air flow.

On the processor and dedicated graphics card (when present), instead of traditional thermal paste, we apply a Thermal Grizzly PhaseSheet PTM phase change pad. At room temperature it is a solid sheet; when the chip exceeds 45 °C it becomes fluid, fills the micro-irregularities between the two surfaces and, when it cools, returns to solid.

It is a PTM (phase change material), i.e. a thermal material with phase change: the same technology as the more well-known Honeywell PTM7950, highly appreciated especially on gaming notebooks. It is often also called "phase change paste" or "PTM pad".

The advantages compared to traditional paste:

• it does not dry out or harden over the years: temperatures remain low over time, not just in the first few months;
• it resists the "pump-out" effect: in a notebook chips constantly go from cold to very hot, and these cycles gradually push the paste out of the contact point; the phase change pad fluidifies and re-compacts without escaping;
• thin layer and always uniform, with no bubbles or exposed areas;
• it does not conduct electricity: no risk of short circuit on the board.

The pad reaches maximum efficiency after the first hours of intensive use, when it has settled with a few heating cycles. It is the right choice for those who use the notebook for gaming, video editing or heavy work, and want stable temperatures without redoing maintenance every year.

Any replacements of fans, heatsinks or other components are not included and are evaluated separately.

Computer cleanup from viruses, malware, ransomware, adware and unwanted programs, with verification of system status at the end of the intervention.

The intervention includes analysis with specific tools, removal of identified threats, checking programs that start automatically, verification of the browser and installed extensions and a general check on the system's health status.

The indicated price is a starting point and corresponds to one hour of work. The actual time depends on how compromised the system is: in some cases the cleanup is exhausted in the basic intervention, in others more passes are needed. Before proceeding beyond the scheduled hour, the course of action is always agreed upon with the customer.

In cases where the system is too damaged to be recovered reliably, the correct approach is data backup and complete reinstallation: this is evaluated separately and agreed upon before starting.

The service does not include an antivirus license, which can be purchased separately.

Annual Malwarebytes Premium license, valid for 12 months on one device. Includes installation, activation and initial setup of real-time protection.

Malwarebytes complements or replaces the system antivirus and acts against malware, ransomware, adware and potentially unwanted programs.

The license can be activated on a computer already being serviced by us or purchased separately. Renewal at expiration is not automatic.

Any removal of an existing infection is not included: it is evaluated separately, as the time required depends on how compromised the system is.
