Upgrade of analog sticks with Hall sensors Sony Aim Controller PS5
Service Description
The original analog sticks work with two potentiometers: a metal slider scrapes across a conductive track every time you move the stick. It's mechanical contact, so it wears out — the track gets thinner, the signal becomes dirty, and the controller starts registering movements you're not making. That's drifting, and replacing the potentiometers with identical ones only postpones it.
Hall effect sensors eliminate contact: position is read using a magnetic field, the parts never touch. No friction means no wear, so drifting from wear doesn't come back. The signal reaching the console is identical to the original: no issues with games, applications, or system updates.
The service includes complete disassembly, replacement of both analog modules, reassembly, and testing on console with calibration verification.
Looking for even more precision? On models where available we also offer the Upgrade with TMR sensors, which has higher resolution and smaller dead zone, and the Upgrade with GuliKit TMR sensors, which adds interchangeable thumbsticks and stick stiffness adjustment.
